We’ve loved every minute of our journey

Inhee Settle

Different perspective to see objects. Learned from the artist InHee Settle built more Inseong's artistic ability behind the oil painting. InHee is a formal art instructor at Arizona State University. InHee's mentored Inseong to grow in drawing skill to appreciate observing objects with in depth quality.

First Drawing

Art was always my passion, but did not have any chance to make an effort to initiate. One day, I look at the Yellow page and called one place where art lesson took place. I think it was 2001, I met Mrs. Barbara Martin who was a retired art teacher. We became a friend and shared our life stories. We met each other by God's divine appointment. She gave me a paper and a pencil to draw a photo of President Jimmy Carter. It was my first drawing. Mrs. Martin always encouraged me and comforted me.

Eye

Close up Jimmy Carter's drawing gives more in depth her drawing quality. Mathematical gazing to create the right proportion of the facial anatomy, which her training in Actuarial Science helped and developed in better translating from the photo to a drawing board.

From a photo of a magazine

Sitting in a waiting can be boring process in a doctor's office or beauty shop. Inseong makes a best of the time of the waiting by enjoying drawing whatever image attracts her, even from magazines. Every lines and shadows have the artistic value. Everyone has an artistic quality in various form. Making the best out of our time make us our life more meaningful and beautiful as a song writer can write a song with an inspiration in a special moment. A society encourages art is always a sign of flourish.

Tear

When we can have tear, we are blessed that we did not lose our heart. When I meet those who can not even have one tear drop. My heart beat seems stops and can relate the heart of God. Does God have tears too? I questioned. Knowing that God will wipe our teats in heaven, we calm our hearts and trust Him and His sovereignty. God is the defender of the weak.
